Activities

The Department of Chemistry at KAHM Unity Women’s College organized an Honouring
Ceremony on 27th August 2024 in the seminar hall, with the aim of celebrating academic
toppers and motivating other students to excel. Coordinated by Mrs. Suhada KM, Assistant
Professor, and anchored by Omniya Ummer from the 5th semester B.Sc. Chemistry, the event
began at 10:15 am with a silent prayer. Dr. P Jyothi, Head of the Department, welcomed the
guests, followed by an inspiring inaugural speech by the principal, O. Abdul Ali, who
encouraged students to strive for success. The ceremony featured the ALCHEM Unity-
sponsored award distribution, including an honor for alumna Ms. Shaima TP, who secured a
fully funded PhD position at the University of California, Riverside, and the Management
Sponsored Edu Care Freeship for outstanding students of 2023-24.
