Alumni Interaction- Ms. Smitha Sivaraman
An alumni interaction event was organized by the Department of Chemistry, KAHM Unity
Women's College, Manjeri on 12th July 2024 at Room no. A305.It was a successful initiative
aimed at bridging the gap between current students and alumni. Ms. Smitha Sivaraman, an
esteemed alumnus of the Dept.and Higher Secondary Teacher at GVHSS Kondoty, was the
guest speaker. Head of the Department Dr.Jyothi P delivered the welcoming address,
followed by an inspiring speech from Principal Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur.
Ms. Smitha shared her career journey, offering valuable insights and advice to students on
career planning and skill development. Ms. Shahana Vth Semester B. Sc. Chemistry student
Co-ordinated the programme. All members of the department were present in the
programme.The event concluded with an interactive session and networking opportunity,
fostering connections between students, faculty, and alumni. Feedback was overwhelmingly
positive, underscoring the event's impact in motivating students and strengthening alumni
engagement efforts for future initiatives.
