Industrial Visit
 
As a part of college Industrial Visit students of chemistry department visit a dairy farm
called Mother Diary in Patparganj, Delhi. The students were warmly welcomed by the
Mother diary workers. A guide was arranged for the students and was shown throughout
the plant with detailed explanation. Students could understand the process of token milk.
How it is clarified, standardised, fortified homogenised and pasteurized. The mother diary
journey of milk was clearly understood through the detailed explained video of how the
milk is collected to how it is converted to token milk. The chemistry behind testing the milk
for adulteration was well understood by the students. They were also introduced to many
other products under Mother Diary. It was a beautiful learning and exploring experience for students.
