Botany Association 24-25 Inauguration: 

The inauguration of the Botany Department Association was held on January 23, 2025, at 1 PM in the CH Auditorium. The event began with a warm welcome speech by Ms. Asna Jahan, the association secretary. Dr. Usman A, Head of the Botany Department, delivered the presidential address, highlighting the importance of departmental activities in promoting learning and teamwork among students.
The main attraction of the program was the inauguration by Mr. Hamidali Vazhakkad, a traveller,  environmentalist, and District Coordinator of the National Green Corps. He also delivered an interesting talk on the biogeography of the Western Ghats, explaining its unique features and the need to protect it. 
The program ended with a vote of thanks by Ms. Rinshidha C. P., 4th Sem BSc Botany expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The program was coordinated by Dr. Faseela P, Assistant Professor and Ms. Asna Jahan K, association secretary in the Department of Botany. Students and teachers worked together to make the event a memorable one.
