Field trip to Agra, Delhi, Kullu and Manali
PG Department of Botany at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized an enriching field trip for Sixth-Semester B.Sc. Botany students to Agra, Delhi, Kullu and Manali from 28th December 2024 to 6th January 2025. The aim of the trip was to understand and observe the correlation between environmental factors and vegetation types in different states. The trip provided students with an opportunity to explore and study diverse vegetation types, soil profiles and agricultural practices in these regions. The ecological variations and the influence of environmental factors on vegetation were distinctly observed, offering valuable insights into the dynamic relationship between plants and their habitats. This hands-on experience enhanced the student's understanding of plant ecology, biodiversity and environmental adaptation, complementing their theoretical knowledge.
