An Electricity Awareness Programme was conducted on 27 December 2025 at 8:30 PM with the aim of creating awareness about the safe and responsible use of electricity.

The session was led by Mr. Rajesh P, Assistant Engineer, KSEB, Manjeri North. He delivered an informative talk on the importance of electrical safety in daily life. Mr. Rajesh explained common electrical hazards and the precautions that should be taken at homes, schools, and public places to prevent accidents.

During the programme, he also highlighted the need for energy conservation and responsible electricity usage. Topics such as avoiding overloading, proper earthing, safe handling of electrical appliances, and reporting electrical faults promptly were clearly explained. He further emphasized the role of citizens in reducing energy wastage and promoting sustainable practices.
The session was highly informative and practical, helping participants gain a better understanding of electricity safety and conservation.
