NAMMALIDAM 2K25 Day 5, Session 22 Mission Clean
As part of the NSS camp activities, a cleaning programme based on the Mission Clean concept was conducted on 27 December 2025 at 10:00 AM. The main aim of the programme was to promote cleanliness and create awareness about proper waste management and environmental protection.
NSS volunteers actively participated in cleaning the surroundings by collecting waste and segregating it into biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials. The volunteers ensured that the area was cleaned in an eco-friendly manner, following the principles of zero waste and responsible disposal.
The programme helped in improving the cleanliness of the area and also created awareness among the volunteers about the importance of reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling.
Overall, the cleaning (Zero Waste) programme was meaningful, effective, and strengthened the sense of environmental responsibility among the participants.
