NAMMALIDAM 2K25 Day 3, Session 11 Financial Literacy Awareness

A Financial Literacy Awareness Programme was successfully conducted on 25-12-2025 at and responsible digital practices among students.
The programme commenced with a welcome speech by Binshida, 2nd Year CA, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants.
Following this, the introduction was delivered by Noushad Sir, who briefly explained the purpose of the programme. He emphasized how lack of financial awareness can lead to serious issues such as online frauds and cyber crimes, thereby stressing the relevance of the topic.
The main session was handled by Muhsinath, who spoke in detail on financial literacy awareness, with special focus on virtual arrest scams, real-life experiences of persons, and data safety. The speaker explained how fraudsters trap innocent people using fear and false legal threats, shared experiences of victims to highlight the seriousness of such scams, and provided practical tips on safeguarding personal and financial data.
The session was interactive and helped participants understand how to identify and avoid online financial frauds.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Sherin, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource person, faculty members, organizers, and students for their active participation and support.
