NAMMALIDAM 2K25 Day 3, Session 9 Back To Soil
As part of the NSS camp activities, the NSS volunteers successfully conducted a Gardening programme "Back To Soil" at 8:30 AM with the aim of promoting environmental awareness, cleanliness, and a sense of responsibility towards nature among students and volunteers.
The volunteers actively participated in cleaning the garden area by removing weeds, dry leaves, and waste materials. The soil was loosened and prepared for planting, ensuring proper aeration and nutrient absorption.
This activity helped instill values such as teamwork, discipline, and environmental responsibility among the volunteers. The gardening programme not only enhanced the beauty of the school campus but also contributed to creating a greener and healthier environment. The programme concluded with a collective pledge by the volunteers to protect and nurture plants and to promote eco-friendly practices in daily life.
