World Suicide Prevention Day

  • KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri
  • 10 Sep / 2025

As part of World Suicide Prevention Day, the NSS volunteers of Units 008 & 171 organised a series of activities to raise awareness and spread positivity within the campus. To engage students and encourage participation, our volunteers conducted a flash mob that drew everyone’s attention and created an energetic start to the event.

In addition to this, NSS Volunteers placed some chart in the campus along with plates filled with different colours of paint. Students were invited to dip their hands in the paint and leave their colourful handprints on the chart as a symbol of hope, strength and willingness to support one another. The activity created a vibrant and emotional atmosphere, reminding everyone about the importance of mental health and standing together against loneliness and despair. The programme received an overwhelming response from students and staff, making it a truly meaningful and memorable day for all.
