NSS Units 171 & 008 of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, affiliated to Calicut University, conducted pledge based on Nagasaki day on 9,August, 2024 from 9:30 Am. This event aimed at reminder of nagasaki day. The theme for pledge making was”Remembering the devastating atomic bombing of nagasaki on 9-August-2024″.The pledge is recited by NSS volunteer Ms. Najiya thasni. This tragic event marked a turning point in human history, emphasizing the need for global peace and nuclear disarmament. The atomic bombing of Nagasaki resulted in unprecedented destruction, claiming thousands of lives and leaving a lasting impact on the survivors and the environment. The Nagasaki Day Pledge serves as a reminder of the horrors of war and the importance of promoting peace and nuclear .
