KAHM UNITY WOMEN‘S COLLEGE MANJERI

Legal Awareness Session 22/11/2024

NSS Units 171 & 008 of KAHM Unity Women‘s College, Manjeri affiliated to Calicut University organized a Legal Awareness Session on November 22, 2024, with the theme of Drug Abuse Prevention. The event commenced with the NSS Geetham, followed by a welcome speech delivered by NSS Secretary Hana Fathima.  

The presidential address was given by Mr. Haris U, NSS Program Officer. The session was inaugurated by Dr. Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, Principal of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri.  

Mr. Ameen Althaf, Preventive Officer at the Excise Circle Office, Manjeri, served as the Chief Guest and provided insightful input on the topic of drug abuse.  

Mr. Sureshan T.P., a para-legal volunteer from DLSA Manjeri, offered a felicitation speech, further enriching the program.  

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by NSS Secretary Fathima Rasha, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for making the session a success.  

This session emphasized the importance of legal and social awareness in combating drug abuse and served as an informative platform for the audience.
