Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Group Cell (SEDG Cell)

The Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Group Cell (SEDG Cell) at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri promotes inclusive and equitable access to higher education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The Cell supports students from SC, ST, OBC, EWS, minority communities, persons with disabilities, and first-generation learners by providing academic guidance, scholarship awareness, mentoring, and counseling. It also organizes skill development programmes and awareness activities to help students overcome socio-economic barriers and achieve their academic and personal goals.
