World River Day – Poster Making Competition
The NCC Army Wing organized a painting competition as part of World River Day celebrations on September 24, 2025, at 1:40 pm at Vidyarthi Bhavan. The event aimed to raise awareness about river conservation and promote artistic talent among cadets through the theme "Our Rivers, Our Future". A total of 60 cadets participated in the competition. CDT Rishva K (3rd Sem BA History) bagged the first prize, while CDT Baby Lijiya AP (3rd Sem BCom CA) secured the second prize. CDT Rana T and CDT Mihitha MP, both from 1st Sem BA History, shared the third prize. The event was successfully coordinated by ANO Lt. Loosiya KP as the faculty coordinator and UO Rushda P (5th Sem BSc Mathematics) as the student coordinator. The outcome of the event was the successful sensitization of cadets about the importance of river conservation, fostering a sense of responsibility towards protecting our water resources,
and providing a platform for cadets to express their creativity and artistic skills.
