NCC Enrollment 2025

The NCC Army Wing of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, under the 9 (K) Girls Battalion NCC, Calicut, conducted the NCC Enrollment 2025 for first-year degree students on 10 September 2025 in the CH Auditorium. The aim of the enrollment was to provide opportunities for students to join the National Cadet Corps, fostering discipline, leadership, and a spirit of service. The objectives were to motivate students to join NCC, select eligible candidates through interview and physical tests, and create awareness about the personal and career benefits of NCC.
Lt. Loosiya KP, Associate NCC Officer, welcomed the gathering. Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, Principal of the college, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of NCC in shaping students’ lives and the positive changes it can bring. Sr. GCI Keerthi from the 9 (K) Girls Battalion NCC, Calicut, explained the enrollment procedure, which included both interviews and physical tests. Sub/Major Surjith Singh also shared his insights on the significance and benefits of NCC in the holistic development of students. BHM Rajesh was present as a member of the selection panel.
Following the interviews, physical tests were conducted on the college ground, and a total of 34 students were selected out of 55 first-year participants. Alongside the enrollment process, parades were also conducted for the second- and third-year cadets. The program was coordinated by ANO Lt. Loosiya KP and UO Rushda P, 5th Semester B.Sc. Mathematics who served as the faculty and student coordinators, respectively.
