79th Independence Day Celebration

The NCC Army Wing of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15 Aug 2025. The aim of the celebration was to commemorate India's Independence Day, instill patriotism among NCC cadets, and highlight the role of cadets in nation building. ANO Lt. Loosiya. KP welcomed the gathering. The programme started with flag hoisting by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. He shared the Independence Day message with cadets about the struggles of freedom fighters, the current situation in India, and the role of cadets in nation building. A vote of thanks was delivered by student coordinator UO Shahna MP (V Sem BSc FCS). As part of the Independence Day celebrations, all cadets participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, promoting the spirit of patriotism by encouraging the display of the national flag at homes. A Tiranga Rally was also conducted in Manjeri town, where cadets marched carrying the national flag, spreading awareness and enthusiasm about patriotism and national pride among the public. A total of 70 cadets participated in the programme, fostering patriotism, teamwork, and leadership among them through various activities.
