Quit India Movement Day Talk and Mime Show

As part of Quit India Movement Day observation, the NCC Army Wing organized a talk and mime show on August 8, 2025. The aim of the event was to commemorate the Quit India Movement and highlight its historical significance and relevance. The objectives of the programme were to educate cadets about the movement's history, the role of leaders, and the struggles faced during the struggle for independence.
Lt. Loosiya. KP, Associate NCC Officer, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of observing Quit India Movement Day. A talk by Dr. Hikmathulla. V, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Malayalam, on 'Quit India: Remembering a History of Struggle' was held at Aryabhata Hall at 10:30 am. He explained the Quit India movement, the role of leaders, the strength of the movement, and the struggles involved. Additionally, a mime show on the theme of Quit India was performed by cadets in front of the administrative block at 1:30 pm. Students from various departments, teachers, and non-teaching staff were the audience. A total of 71 cadets participated in the programme. The event outcome was heightened awareness among participants about the Quit India Movement's significance in India's struggle for independence. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by student coordinator UO Rushda. P (V Sem BSc FCS).
