NCC Day Celebration -Extempore Competition

The National Cadet Corps (NCC), the largest uniformed youth organization in the world, was established in 1948 and is celebrating its 76th Raising Day on 25th November 2024 with traditional fervour. In accordance of this day, the NCC Army Wing of KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri, conducted an extempore competition among the cadets on 25th November 2024. The theme of the extempore was "Role of NCC in Youth Development”. The competition aimed to improve the communication skills of cadets and raise awareness about the significance of the day. CDT Jinsha K, III sem B Sc Mathematics, CDT Jasra K, II sem BA English and CDT Shahma C, III sem BA English won the first, second and third prizes respectively. Dr. NV Fatimathu Zuhara, Assistant Professor of Home Science, L/CPL Rushda P (3rd Sem BSc Mathematics), and CDT Shahana MP (3rd Sem BSc Family and Community Science) were the respective faculty and student coordinators.
