Freshers' Day Celebrated with Cultural Fervour at K.A.H.M. Unity Women's College(Autonomous)

The Freshers' Day celebration was held at K.A.H.M. Unity Women's College (Autonomous) here on Thursday. The programme began at 1.30 p.m. at the CH Auditorium. It was organised by the Haya Students' Union to welcome the new batch of students to the college.
The event featured a series of cultural performances by students from various departments. The celebration was marked by colourful presentations and enthusiastic participation from the student community.
As many as 11 departments took part in the cultural competitions held during the day. The Commerce Department emerged as the overall champions. The department secured the First Place and won the Korambayil Ahmed Haji Memorial Ever Rolling Trophy.
The smooth conduct of the event drew appreciation from students and faculty members. The Haya Students' Union was commended for its efficient coordination throughout the programme.
