‘Ethnic Day’ celebration

Meridia Students Union organized a vibrant ‘Ethnic Day’ celebration in the college on February 16, 2024. Ms. Liyana CTP, the union representative, warmly welcomed the attendees, setting the tone for an enriching event. Seven dynamic groups from different departments enthusiastically participated, presenting an array of cultural traditions and practices. Students showcased the diversity of our community through traditional attire, music and dance from various ethnic backgrounds. Through lively performances, the audience had the opportunity to appreciate the richness of our multicultural heritage. In closing, the General Secretary, Fathima Thasni, extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to all participants and attendees for their contributions in making the event a resounding success. The celebration served as a testament to the unity amidst diversity within our college community.
