National Statistics Day Observation
The event was inaugurated by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, who spoke on the importance of statistics today. IQAC Coordinator Dr. AK Shahina Mol highlighted the value of statistical literacy. Dr. Saheeda Riyas, a Statistical Investigator, gave a talk on the “Significance and Applications of Statistics,” covering how statistics aids decision-making, key concepts, and practical applications in fields like economics, healthcare, and social sciences. Afterward, an interactive session allowed students and faculty to discuss these ideas further with Dr. Riyas, making it an engaging and insightful experience.
