Activities

On October 22-23, 2023, a two-day environmental camp was held, inaugurated by Mr. Tharanath, Beat Forest Officer, South Wayanad. Day 1 included a session on wildlife conservation by environmentalist Mr. Hamid Ali, eco-friendly activities like removing invasive plants, a trek to Kuruva Dweep to learn about biodiversity, and a night sky-watching session. Day 2 featured bird-watching, a visit to tribal settlements to learn about sustainable practices, and field studies of forest trees. The camp ended with students sharing their insights and experiences.
