The Human Rights and Legal Awareness Club of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized a talk titled Empowering Women, Ensuring Justice on 19th February 2025 at 7:30 PM via Google Meet. The session featured Adv. Fathima Aboobacker P (BCom, LLB) as the guest speaker and aimed to educate participants about women's legal rights and justice. The event began with a welcome address by Rahiya Thasneem PP (Faculty Coordinator, Assistant Professor - Adhoc), followed by an insightful session led by Adv. Fathima Aboobacker P, who discussed legal provisions for women, challenges in accessing justice, and the significance of legal awareness in empowerment. The interactive session allowed participants to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions. The discussion concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks by Nuha Rasheed (Student Coordinator, VI Semester B.Com CA), who appreciated the speaker’s contribution and emphasized the importance of legal literacy. The session was successful in raising awareness among students and encouraging them to stand up for their rights.
