In celebration of World Water Day, the Eco and Nature Club at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized a significant event on 25th March 2024, aimed at fostering environmental consciousness and supporting local bird populations through the installation of Hanging Water Feeders for Birds within and outside campus premises. Er. O. Abdul Ali, College Manager led the inauguration ceremony by symbolically hanging and filling the water in the feeder pot. Prof. (Dr.) Basheer Ummathur, the Principal, actively participated in hanging the feeder pots across the campus, demonstrating his enthusiasm for the project. This event served as a platform for fostering teamwork, enhancing environmental awareness, and encouraging community engagement, with participants collaborating to positively impact the local ecosystem. Student coordinator Zeva Khan and faculty coordinator Dr. Faseela P. played pivotal roles in coordinating and ensuring the success of the initiative.
