Swap Shop
The PG and Research Department of Chemistry, in association with the Chemistry Club of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized a “Swap Shop” programme on 4 December 2025 at 1:00 PM in Room G303.
The initiative aimed to promote the concepts of reuse, waste reduction, and sustainable living among students. Participants brought gently used items such as books, clothes, accessories, utensils, and décor items to exchange with others, encouraging mindful consumption and reducing environmental impact.
The programme received enthusiastic participation, creating an engaging space for students to interact, trade useful items, and understand the value of circular resource use. The event successfully highlighted the theme “Trade smart. Live sustainably.”
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Jamsheena V, Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Chemistry, with Ms. Niya Henna, IV Semester BSc Chemistry student, serving as the student coordinator.
