Activities

The Charity Club of 2022 was inaugurated at 2:30 PM on October 17, 2022. The formal
ceremony was graced by renowned charity figure, Mr. Firoz Kunnamparambil, who had the honor of
officially launching the club. Dr. Deepa K, the Coordinator of the Charity Club and Assistant Professor
of Chemistry, extended a warm welcome to all present. The event was presided over by Dr. Muhammed
Basheer Ummathur, Principal of K.A.H.M. Unity Women’s College, who expressed heartfelt gratitude
on behalf of the management, faculty, and students for honoring the eagerly awaited occasion.
The Principal also highlighted the college's ongoing charitable endeavors, such as the Share and Care
and Snehabhavanam projects. The event was further distinguished by the presence of Jb. O Abdul Ali,
Manager of K.A.H.M. Unity Women’s College, Dr. Shahina Mol, IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Jaseena, Staff
Club Secretary, and Mr. Basheer Hussain Thangal, representative of the Non-Teaching Staff, all of
whom felicitated the occasion.
In his inaugural speech, Mr. Firoz Kunnamparambil commended the college for establishing a dedicated
club for charitable activities, sharing the inspiring journey of his own path to full-time charity work. The
event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Safa, Secretary of the Charity Club and first-
semester BSc Chemistry student
