KSWDC Women Cell, KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri, successfully conducted an impactful awareness session on RSETI (Rural Self Employment Training Institute) courses, emphasizing their role as a gateway to rewarding careers through skill development during students' vacation periods. Held on February 23, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM in Aryabhata Hall, the event was expertly facilitated by Mr. Sadique Ali, Faculty from Canara Bank (RSETI), and coordinated by Ms. Suhada KM (Women cell Coordinator) and Ms. Nashwa (2nd Sem BSc. FCS). Students showed keen interest in specific courses including fashion designing, bridal makeup, stitching, and fast-food processing, reflecting their enthusiasm for practical, entrepreneurship-oriented training. Mr. Sadique Ali elaborated on key details, noting that these short-term programs typically span 30-35 days for intensive hands-on learning, with minimal eligibility criteria such as age limits of 18-50 years, and no prior experience required—making them accessible for college students seeking self-employment opportunities. The session, adorned with KAHM Unity Women’s College and RSETI branding inspired participants to leverage their vacations productively for skill-building and future independence.
