The “She Loops” crochet workshop was organized on 15 December 2025 at G301 by the KSWDC Women Cell. The resource person was Ms. Saifunnisa, fashion designer, with coordination by Ms. Suhada K M (Women Cell Coordinator) and student coordinator Rinsha (4th Sem BSc Chemistry). 23 students were attended the first session from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. All participants belonged primarily to the undergraduate science stream and showed keen interest in hands on learning. The session started with an introduction to crochet materials and demonstration of the basic stitch. After understanding the stitch, students used wool to begin preparing a small crochet bag, applying the technique under the guidance of the resource person. By the end of the brief session, students were able to handle the hook and yarn confidently and had completed an initial portion of their bag. The workshop helped them acquire a new creative skill and motivated them to continue and complete the bag as a personal craft project.
