Science, Society, You and Me

The Seethi Sahib Chair for Cultural and Political Studies, in collaboration with the Women Cell, organized an insightful program titled "Science, Society, You and Me" on 7th January 2025. The program commenced with a welcome note by Dr. Abdul Rof, Director of the Seethi Sahib Chair. The Presidential Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, Principal, emphasizing the role of interdisciplinary discussions. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Safeer CK, Royal Society University Research Fellow and Professor, Oxford University, who explored the interplay between science, society, and individual responsibility. Felicitations were offered by notable dignitaries, including Er. O. Abdul Ali, Manager, and Dr. A.K. Shahina Mol, IQAC Coordinator. Students’ representatives, including Ms. Shahana, Vice Chairperson, also contributed to the session. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Suhada KM, Women Cell Coordinator.
