Science Club Inauguration for the year 2024-25

The Science Club of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, was inaugurated on 7th January 2025 by Dr. Safeer CK, Royal Society University Research Fellow and Professor at Oxford University. Dr. Safeer delivered a thought-provoking talk on "Science, Society, You and Me," emphasizing the critical role of science in societal development and individual responsibility in leveraging scientific advancements for positive change.
The event was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, Principal of the college, who highlighted the importance of fostering scientific curiosity among students. Felicitations were offered by Ms. Omniya Ummer, Women Cell member, acknowledging the initiative and its potential impact.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Suhada KM, Women Cell Coordinator, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, organizers, and participants. The program was effectively coordinated by Ms. Hana Fathima, a 4th-semester B.Sc. Chemistry student, ensuring its smooth execution.
The event served as a significant step in promoting scientific inquiry and collaboration among students.
