Luminescent Materials and Advanced Functional Systems

  • 04 Apr / 2025

This research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and photophysical studies of lanthanide-based luminescent materials, β-diketonate complexes, and organic chromophoric systems, with a strong emphasis on their applications in photoluminescence, sensing, imaging, and advanced functional materials. A combination of steady-state and time-resolved spectroscopic techniques, microscopic characterization, and theoretical calculations are employed to gain insights into the structure and properties of these materials. Additionally, the development of polymer hybrid materials and metallogels with unique optical properties is explored, targeting emerging applications in photonics and optoelectronics. The goal is to advance the design of innovative materials that can contribute to the next generation of photonic and optoelectronic devices.
