Movie Screening on Palestine by NSS as part of Children’s Day
On November 14, 2023, in celebration of Children’s Day, the NSS units at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized a thought-provoking event—the screening of the 2021 internationally co-produced historical drama film, “Farha,” directed and written by Darin J. Sallam.
*Movie Synopsis:* “Farha” takes the audience on a poignant journey through the coming-of-age experience of a Palestinian girl named Radieh during the Nakba, the 1948 displacement of Palestinians from their homeland.The event had a dual purpose: to commemorate Children’s Day and express solidarity with Palestinian children who have been victims of the Israeli invasion.
