Ms. M. K. Vineetha, Assistant Professor, Department of English served as the resource person for the one day workshop on Student Centric Teaching Approaches for the staff of Al Shifa College of Nursing, Perinthalmanna on 5th December, 2023. The workshop explored the theoretical framework of SCTL (Student Centred Teaching and Learning) and the gaps between theory and practice, along with research findings on the potentials of the method. The interactive session incorporated simple strategies for student engagement and involvement, and touched upon innovative trends in teaching-learning- assessment dynamics, strongly emphasising the need for continuous professional and personal development to cope with the global technological advancements in all spheres of life.
