Session on “Driving innovation with IoT”

The PG Department Of Computer Science has oraganized a seminar on the topic “Driving innovation with IoT” on 12th july 2023 at the seminar hall. Mrs.Fathimath Shabana (Assistant professor, department of computer science) given a keynote speech to the session. The session “Driving innovation with IoT” was handled by Mr.Liklhil T(project manager Riss technologies, calicut)and Mr.Roshin P(project co-ordinator). The student coordinators, Rinsha K (UG fifth semester computer science) makes the welcome speech and Nishana sherin C (PG 2nd  semester) finally conclude the session with  vote of thanks. IoT stands for “Internet of Things”. It refers to the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances, and other items that are embedded with sensors, software, and connectivity, which allow them to collect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet. The goal of IoT is to create a seamless and connected environment where devices can communicate with each other and work together to automate and optimize various tasks and processes. IoT is being used in a wide range of applications, including smart homes, healthcare, transportation, agriculture, manufacturing, and more. “Driving innovation with IoT” means using the capabilities of the Internet of Things (IoT) to create new and innovative products, services, and business models. IoT devices and systems have the ability to collect vast amounts of data, which can be analyzed and used to gain insights into various aspects of a business or operation. This data can be used to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve the overall customer experience.
