It involves the use of technologies, processes, and practices to secure digital assets and prevent cyber attacks.Ethical hacking, also known as “penetration testing,” is the practice of testing a computer system, network, or application for potential vulnerabilities and security weaknesses in order to identify and address them before they can be exploited by malicious attackers. Ethical hacking is usually conducted by trained professionals who have permission from the system owner to perform the testing.Ethical hacking is important because it helps organizations identify and address security weaknesses before they can be exploited by malicious attackers. By testing their own systems, organizations can ensure that they are taking proactive steps to protect their digital assets and prevent cyber attacks.
