Community Nutrition Camp
The Pg Department of Home Science conducted a Community Nutrition Camp as part of the syllabus from 16/10/2023 – 20/10/2023 on the topic ” Assessment of nutritional status among tribal adolescence in Mahila Shikshak Kendra Nilambur”.The objective of the camp was to access the dietary intake and nutritional status in tribal adolescents and to plan necessary nutrition interventions by providing awareness class on importance of nutrition and personal hygiene in daily life.The ll sem MSc Home Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) students conducted the camp and 45 adolescent tribal girls participated in the programme.
