Nexbiz 23, New Generation Business Opportunities-A Community Outreach Programme
PG Department of Commerce conducted an awareness talk on a thrust area New Generation Business Opportunities on 07th December 2023, 9.30 a.m. in the Seminar Hall ,as a community outreach program of the department The objective of this programme was to develop awareness about the modern business opportunities available for the students. The defined audience of the program was the students of nearby Colleges. Technical Session on “New Generation Business Opportunities” was handled by Mr. Noushadali Parappur, Head and Assistant Professor of Arabic, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. He empowered the students with knowledge and created insights into emerging business opportunities, which in a way helps in fostering economic growth and entrepreneurship. He also highlighted various opportunities exist for individuals of different description, like women, minorities, young entrepreneurs etc. Around 90 students from various colleges actively participated in this programme. Dr. Mohammad Basheer Ummathur, Principal inaugurated the program. Mrs. T. K. Fathima Shajitha, HOD in charge and Associate Professor of Commerce has presided over the meeting. The programme was co-ordinated by faculty coordinator Haseena Jasmine C K, Assistant Professor of Commerce, and students coordinators Fathima P T of 3rd Semester B.Com Co-operation and Ayisha Saleem of 3rd Semester B.Com Computer Application.
