English Association Inauguration and Honouring Ceremony
The English Association for the year 2023-24 was officially inaugurated on 23 February, 2024 by Dr. Shanavas Pattupara, Assistant Professor of English at Govt College Mankada, by delivering a session titled “Rethinking English Studies in the Era of AI.” He highlighted the evolving landscape of English literature studies amidst the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence. The event was presided over by the Head of the Department of English Dr.Shahina Mol A.K, and was coordinated by Ms.Muhsina C.K, the association secretary. Principal Prof.(Dr.)Muhammed Basheer Ummathur too joined and spoke during the event.
Additionally, an awards ceremony was held during the event, where Dr. Shanavas Pattupara, as the chief guest, presented mementos to students who excelled in exams such as NET/JRF, SET, KTET. Notable academic accomplishments of select faculty members within the department were also recognized and celebrated
