UNITY 2026 CONVOCATION CEREMONY HELD AT KAHM UNITY WOMEN'S COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), MANJERI

KAHM Unity Women’s College (Autonomous), Manjeri, successfully hosted the Unity 2026 Convocation Ceremony on 3rd September 2026. The graduation ceremony was conducted in two sessions to accommodate all the graduating batches.
The event was marked by the presence of distinguished guests, management members, faculty, and graduates.
SESSION 1: Forenoon Session
For 2023-26 UG Batches
The forenoon session commenced at 10:00 AM with a prayer, followed by a Welcome Address by Dr. N. V. Fatimathu Zuhara, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Home Science and IQAC Coordinator.
Adv. U. A. Latheef, Secretary, delivered the Presidential Address. The Convocation Ceremony was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest Chaitra Theresa John IPS, District Police Chief of Malappuram.
Honouring of Rank Holders and Toppers was held from 10:20 AM onwards by the Chief Guest. This was followed by the Graduation Ceremony Address by Prof. (Dr.) M.N. Mohammedunni Alias Musthafa, Professor and Director, E. Sreedharan Centre for Life Skills Education, Department of Education, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod.
The Oath-taking session was led by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. Mementos were distributed to the Chief Guests.
Felicitations were offered by Mr. Abdul Ali (Manager), Dr. Haris U (Staff Club Secretary), Mr. Yunus (Non-Teaching Staff Secretary), Mr. Anwar Sadath K.V. (PTA Vice-President), and Ms. Fathimathul Busthana (Student Vice-Chairperson, Haya Student Union).
The highlight of the ceremony, the Distribution of Certificates by the Chief Guests, Principal and other dignitaries, took place from 10:55 AM to 1:00 PM. The session concluded with feedback from a graduate and a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Suhada K.M., Programme Coordinator.
SESSION 2: Afternoon Session .
For 2024-26, 2023-25 & 2022-24 PG Batches and 2022-25 & 2021-24 UG Batches
The afternoon session began at 3 PM with a Welcome Address by Dr. Aswathy M. P., IQAC Joint Coordinator, followed by the Presidential Address by College governing Body President Sayyid Munavvarali shihab Thangal .
The Convocation Address was delivered by Prof. M. Shahul Hameed, Director and Professor, AMU Malappuram Centre. The Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. Ashraf K. K., Joint Director (Academic), Department of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala and Former Principal, Government College Mokeri.
After the memento distribution and oath-taking session led by the Principal, felicitations were offered by the Manager, Staff Club President Dr. Usman A, Non-Teaching Staff President Mr. Abdul Nazar T.M., PTA Vice-President, and Student Vice-Chairperson.
The ceremony concluded with a feedback session and a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Shamsheera K. O., IQAC Joint Coordinator
The Convocation Ceremony 2026 was a memorable and proud moment for all graduates, marking the successful completion of their academic journey and the beginning of a new chapter.
