MDC Orientation for First Semester Students

An orientation session on the selection of Multidisciplinary Courses (MDCs) for first-semester FYUGP students was conducted at the CH Auditorium on 27 July 2026 from 1:40 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The programme aimed to help students make informed choices while selecting their MDCs. Course tutors of the eleven MDCs offered at KAHM Unity Women's College (Autonomous), Manjeri, introduced their respective courses, highlighting the syllabus, learning outcomes, and the scope of each course. The College-level MDC Coordinator, Ms. Sangeeta K, provided an overview of the FYUGP credit structure and explained the guidelines for selecting an MDC judiciously. She also addressed students' queries regarding course selection and the registration process. The orientation was attended by all first semester FYUGP students. The session concluded at 3:15 p.m., equipping students with the necessary information to make well-informed academic choices.
