Prodigy Path: Season 3 Inaugurated at KAHM Unity Women’s College (Autonomous), Manjeri
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women’s College (Autonomous), Manjeri, successfully inaugurated Season 3: Day 1 of Prodigy Path – the Institutional Platform for Faculty Empowerment & Capacity Building – on 11 June 2026 at 1:10 PM in Aryabhata Hall.Prodigy Path is the college’s flagship initiative for continuous professional development of faculty, and capacity building of NTS , designed to strengthen academic excellence and institutional growth.The programme commenced with the Welcome Speech by Dr. Shahina Mol A.K., Faculty Coordinator . She outlined the objectives of Prodigy Path . Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur, Principal & IQAC Chairman, delivered the Presidential Address and emphasized the responsibilities and opportunities that autonomy brings to faculty and institution alike.The session was formally inaugurated by Mr. O. Abdul Ali, Manager of the institution. Dr. N.V. Fatimatu Zuhara, IQAC Coordinator, addressed the gathering and insisted the need for building a culture of quality and innovation. The highlight of the day was the technical session by Dr. Sabique M.K., Principal, MES Ponnani College (Autonomous). Speaking on the topic “From Affiliation to Autonomy: Empowering Faculty, Transforming Institution” _, Dr. Sabique elaborated on the modes and methods of faculty empowerment and capacity building of all the stakeholders during the institutional transformation in the advent of autonomy. He focused on curriculum design freedom, outcome-based education, flexible assessment reforms, and strengthening internal quality systems.The session was uconcluded with an interactive discussion where all faculty members actively engaged, shared perspectives, and raised queries on implementing autonomy effectively in teaching-learning and evaluation. Mr. Noushadali P K, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, resource person, participating faculty and NTS, for making the inaugural day of Season 3 a success. With this launch, Prodigy Path Season 3 sets the tone for a year of capacity-building, collaborative learning, and academic transformation at KAHM Unity Women’s College (Autonomous). Manjeri
