Research Experiences in Abroad
P.G. Department of Botany conducted the third lecture under ‘Alumni Lecture Series’ on 31st October 2022 at 7 pm through google meet. Dr.SumithaThushar, Postdoctoral fellow, Plant Genetic Resources Scientist, International Centre for Biosaline Agriculture, Dubai led the session on the topic “Research Experiences in Abroad”. She is our alumna and completed her B.Sc. in Botany during 2006-2009 with first rank under Calicut University. It was an interesting session and she explained her experiences as a scientist with our students and motivated them to enter the research and studies at abroad in Botany and shared the benefits they will get through it. She gave an insight to our students about using various internet platforms that will help them to fulfilling their dreams. Mrs.Jusnafairooz. P.K, programme coordinator, welcomed the gathering and Dr.UsmanA., Head of the department presided over the function. Mrs.Shibily, I semester M.Sc. botany student thanked the function.
