History Museum
The Eranad History Museum at Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women's College, Manjeri, is a treasure trove of cultural and historical significance. Inaugurated in 2014, the museum aims to preserve and showcase the region's rich heritage, promoting unity and cultural understanding.
The objectives of museum are:
(1) to showcase traditional knowledge and skills.
(2) to display household items and artifacts of historical significance
(3) to exhibit students' handmade replicas of historical monuments and artifacts
(4) to showcase old tools and equipments (5) to provide an interactive platform for learning and research.
Since its inception, the museum has welcomed numerous school students, researchers, and history enthusiasts. The museum boasts rare collections, including ancient coins, manuscripts, and agricultural tools. The exhibits also feature traditional clothing, jewelry, and utensils, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of our ancestors.
