Alumni Lecture Series 2026 Talk-1 "Dream without Fear,"

The Department of History organized the First Alumni Lecture Series on February 4, 2026, at Aryabhatta Hall, featuring Fathima Shirin CK, a proud alumna of the 2009-12 batch. The event, themed "Dream without Fear," aimed to inspire and motivate current students by sharing Fathima's experiences and insights.Fathima's talk, "We Can Do It," emphasized creating a safe space for self-expression without fear of judgment. She highlighted the importance of breaking free from societal pressure and focusing on personal growth, citing Sunita Williams as an example of pursuing passions and achieving financial independence.The event was well-received by history students and faculty. Jaseena C, Assistant Professor of History, coordinated the program and welcomed the gathering. Faizal TK felicitated the event, while Munjiya, a 6th-sem history student, delivered a vote of thanks. Discussions followed with contributions from Jalva Nishani, Labeeba, and Sadiya.The event fostered a sense of community, encouraging students to explore their potential. The department looks forward to hosting more such events, providing a platform for alumni to inspire the next generation.
