Paper Presentations at National Seminar on Resistance in English Literature

Ms. Fathima Husna and Ms. Fathima Rinsha T.K, the students of Second Semester MA English,PG and Research Department of English,KAHM Unity Women's College,Manjeri participated and presented papers in the National Seminar titled Repression, Recollection & Resilience: The Politics of Resistance in English Literature, held at MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, on 18 February 2026. Ms. Fathima Husna presented her paper, “When Everyday Life Becomes Resistance: Feminichi Fathima and Feminist Resistance,” which examined the politics of feminist resistance embedded in everyday life. Ms. Fathima Rinsha T.K presented the paper, “From Melancholic Stasis to Agentic Rupture: Narrating Trauma in Akale and Uyare,” offering a critical analysis of trauma narratives, agency, and feminist representation. The seminar served as a significant national-level platform for scholarly exchange and critical engagement. Their participation contributed meaningfully to academic discourse and further enhanced their research and professional competencies.
