Experiential Learning - Visit to Shastrayan at Calicut University
The Fourth Semester English Major students embarked on an enriching Experiential Learning journey as part of Shastrayan at Calicut University on January 30, 2026, organized under the aegis of the English Club and Film Club, in collaboration with the P.G. and Research Department of English.
The day unfolded with a vibrant array of programmes designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Students enthusiastically participated in quiz competitions, language games, and interactive sessions, each activity offering them fresh perspectives on the dynamic possibilities of English studies beyond the classroom.
A total of 49 students from the class took part in this academic and cultural immersion, making the event both lively and memorable. Their spirited engagement reflected not only their intellectual enthusiasm but also their joy in collaborative learning.The students were accompanied and guided by Dr. Krishna Sunder A, Class Tutor and Film Club Coordinator, and Ms. Sangeeta K, English Club Coordinator. The visit proved to be a celebration of learning, creativity, and community, leaving the students with lasting impressions and renewed motivation to explore the world of ideas with vigor and imagination.
