The English Association of the PG & Research Department of English, KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized an association programme on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 02:50 pm in Room F201.The programme began with a welcome speech, which warmly welcomed the speaker, teachers, and students. The speaker for the session was Dr. Jyothi P, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry. Her topic was “Literature of Ordinary Life: Finding Stories in Daily Routines.”In her talk, Dr. Jyothi P spoke about how literature can be found in everyday life and simple daily experiences. She explained that ordinary moments, routines, and emotions can become meaningful stories in literature. The session was very engaging and helped students understand literature from a fresh and practical perspective. Students actively listened and gained new insights from the talk.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the speaker for her insightful session, the teachers for their support, and the students for their active participation. The programme ended successfully with positive feedback from the participants.
