Participated in the Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop conducted under the English Language Skill Training Programme
Ms Ayisha Zidha of the PG and Research Department of English, participated in the Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop conducted under the English Language Skill Training Programme on 22 December 2025 at Kochi. The workshop was organized by Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC), Government of Kerala, as part of the Vijnanakeralam initiative. The workshop aimed at equipping participants with effective training methodologies and pedagogical strategies to enhance English language instruction. The programme is a key initiative of the Kerala Government intended to improve employability among college graduates in Kerala by strengthening their communication and language skills, thereby aligning academic competencies with industry requirements.
The session enhanced trainer preparedness through learner-centered and skill-oriented teaching practices, offering insights into modern instructional techniques. It highlighted the importance of language proficiency in career development and contributed effectively to professional capacity building in alignment with the objectives of the Vijnanakeralam initiative.
