A One-Day Workshop on Project Management for English undergraduates titled "UG Project: A Road Map" was successfully conducted on 14 October 2025 by the PG & Research Department of English at KAHM Unity Women's College, Manjeri. The workshop aimed at equipping undergraduate students with the necessary skills and knowledge to conceptualize, plan, structure, and document academic projects effectively.
The first session, handled by Dr. Shahina Mol A.K., Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English, focused on guiding students through the process of transforming broad concepts into focused project topics. In the second session, Dr. Aswathy M.P., Associate Professor, provided instructions on how to structure projects systematically. Emphasis was placed on organizing content, chapter division, and maintaining a coherent flow throughout the research. The third session, led by Mr. Sidique P., Assistant Professor, centered around the mechanics of academic writing. Techniques on clarity, coherence, and formal language essential for drafting effective project reports were discussed to improve participants' writing skills. The final session by Mr. Muhammedali P., Assistant Professor, who addressed the significance of proper documentation and citation practices. This session covered formatting standards, referencing styles, and ethical considerations in academic writing.
The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates by Dr. Shahina Mol A.K., Head of the Department of English, recognizing the participants' active involvement and successful completion of the workshop.
