Invited Talk on Marginality and Transnational Minorities in the 21st Century

The Research Forum, in collaboration with the Department Quality Assurance Cell (DQAC) of the PG & Research Department of English, K.A.H.M. Unity Women’s College, organized an invited talk on “Marginality and Transnational Minorities in the 21st Century” on February 3, 2025.

Dr. Sajaudeen Najamodeen Chapparban, from the Centre for Diaspora Studies, Central University of Gujarat, delivered the keynote address, where he explored the intersectionality and subalternity of diaspora communities. His insights provided a critical understanding of the challenges and complexities faced by transnational minorities in contemporary society.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Muhammedali P., Assistant Professor of English, followed by the Principal’s address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Muhammed Basheer Ummathur. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Kamila Gulnar Abdul Raof, Research Scholar, PG & Research Department of English.
